SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 1911 TRP OPERATOR W/RAIL – Key Performance Features

1911 TRP™ OPERATOR® .45 ACP HANDGUN W/ RAIL

The 1911 Operator® .45 ACP Tactical Response Pistol (TRP™) is the tricked-out 1911 for the serious shooter of distinction. The forged carbon steel slide and frame are custom fitted and finished in Cerakote. Custom shop features like a hand-fitted grip safety with a memory bump and extended beavertail come standard as does the extended ambidextrous thumb safety. A one-piece full-length National Match guide rod and 5″ stainless steel bull barrel offer superb reliability and precision.

Springfield Armory® took the 1911, a gun that’s been around longer than penicillin and dialed up a modern, professional-grade weapon that has been the gold standard in production 1911s for over a decade — the legendary TRP™.

Our Tactical Response Pistols are inspired by the Custom Professional Model HRT 1911 developed by Springfield Armory for the FBI. Built for fierce reliability and suited for defense and combat applications all TRP models start with a select fit forged frame and slide. From that robust foundation each model is duly equipped and finished in exacting detail.

Widely regarded as the premier production 1911 in the world, the Springfield Armory TRP® is proudly crafted here in Geneseo Illinois and ready for a lifetime of service.

20-LPI CHECKERING

Deep 20 lines-per-inch checkering on the mainspring housing and frontstrap ensure a solid interface between the firearm and the shooter.

BLENDED MAGWELL

The blended magwell naturally channels fresh magazines into the gun for peerless performance at speed.

ADJUSTABLE TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS

Fully adjustable tritium night sights offer superb low-light performance along with the capacity to zero the pistol for a specific load, range or condition.
