The reliability of SIG’s lightweight direct impingement system, paired with the customization of TREAD.

FEATURES

Familiar handling, unfamiliar power, SIG SAUER has taken the proven features of the SIG516 and applied them into a potent AR-based rifle chambered in 7.62 NATO. Utilizing the tried and true Direct Impingement System, an M1913 Mil-Std rail, free-floating barrel, aluminum forend, and telescoping stock, the SIG716 is the rifle of choice when you require the power of a larger caliber carbine.

The SIG Sauer 716I Tread Rifle is a multi-purpose AR platform firearm unlike any other. First this 7.62 NATO/.308 Win AR-308 Rifle begins its life as a set of forged aluminum upper/lower receivers which feature a hard coat anodized finish. Next the Tread comes standard with a 16″ barrel that provides incredible shot to shot consistency and tight groupings. This is an optics ready platform with a free floating M-LOK compatible hard guard to provide tons of real estate for all of your accessories. The ambidextrous controls will ensure either a righty or southpaw lefty shooter will be able to manipulate the rifle in any situation. Perfect for hunting, home defense or competition, the SIG Sauer 716I Tread Rifle is everything you’re looking for in a powerful large caliber carbine.
