Q SUGAR WEASEL SD 7″ SBR 300 BLACKOUT SBR

The Sugar Weasel SD by Q LLC is essentially a more economical version of the renowned Honey Badger, offering much of the same performance at roughly half the price. The front of the Sugar Weasel is virtually identical to the Honey Badger and is optimized for use with a suppressor. The 7-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel maximizes the potential of the 300 Blackout cartridge, and an adjustable gas block allows the rifle to be adapted for different ammunition types. The rear half of the Sugar Weasel differs significantly from the Honey Badger. This is most notable in the receiver: rather than a milled billet construction, the Sugar Weasel utilizes a forged receiver used by more common AR platforms. In terms of customization, the Sugar Weasel features a full length picatinny rail with more than enough space for optics, iron sights, and clip-on night vision/thermal devices, and M-LOK sections on the handguard allows for the use of lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories. Additionally, this rifle is outfitted with an integral suppressor.

Features of the Sugar Weasel SD:

• Optimized for suppressor usage
• Adjustable gas block
• Lightweight, compact design
• Full length picatinny rail
• M-LOK handguard

AND NOW, A WORD FROM RECOIL MAGAZINE ABOUT CLEAR ANODIZED FORGED RECEIVERS…

“Unlike billet receivers, forged receivers have impurities in the metallurgical content due to the forging process. Since no dye is added during anodizing, any imperfections or impurities in the metal are more readily seen through the clear anodization. Unfortunately, it’s something that cannot be avoided but is only cosmetic in nature. That’s why Krylon exists anyway…”
